Comet C/2002 T7 (Linear)

Description:

This is the first image of a comet that I have ever taken. Comet C/2002 T7 (Linear) was at magnitude 8.3 (in the constellation Pisces) when I took this image, and was located 1.6 AU from the Earth. It will brighten to a naked eye object by late Spring and early Summer 2004. It is interesting to note that this comet was not discovered until October 2002.
